We are a group of local Tucson business men who for the last 11 years have shared our passion for deep sea fishing by taking Purple Heart recipients and wounded veterans fishing in the Sea of Cortez. All our funds are raised under Outdoor Adventures for Wounded Veterans Inc , a 501-C3 non profit organization. Each year, monies are raised, and donations (boats, refreshments, food, lodging,) are taken to take 12-15 wounded veterans on a trip to San Carlos, Mexico in June  for two days of deep sea fishing and relaxation .One of the most important issues is that the veterans have a chance to spend time with each other and get a chance to reflect on their progress in life and getting through the loop holes regarding medical and government .    We are fortunate to have patriotic boat owners donate the use of their boats and crews for our Wounded Warriors. Our participants meet in Tucson and all their expenses are covered from that moment on. The only thing we ask of them is to have a passport and a willingness to have fun chasing fish! Last year was an unbelievable season for Pacific sailfish in San Carlos, every one of our veterans was able to land a sailfish and a blind Purple Heart took overall top fishing honors in our tournament.
